What an unforgettable day! The sun was shining, the colours were flying, and the smiles were absolutely everywhere all thanks to YOU, our amazing Burton Hathow community.
This year's Colour Mile was our brightest yet, and it’s all down to the incredible support from our families, staff, pupils, and wider community. From start to finish, the school grounds were buzzing with energy, laughter, and rainbow-hued joy.
Whether you were running, walking, dancing, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines your spirit made the event truly special. It was a celebration not just of fitness and fun, but of togetherness, creativity, and the wonderful values we hold dear at Burton Hathow.
A huge thank you to:
Our brilliant PTA and volunteers for the planning and preparation behind the scenes
The staff team who joined in wholeheartedly (and got just as messy as the children!), especially Mr Murphy!
All the families and friends who turned out in full force to support, encourage, and enjoy the event
And of course, the stars of the show, our pupils and parents, for throwing themselves into every colour burst with joy and enthusiasm!
Your energy, generosity, and community spirit helped raise valuable funds for school initiatives that will benefit all our children. We’ll be sharing more soon on how the proceeds from this year’s event will be used, so stay tuned!
Once again, thank you for making the 2025 Colour Mile an explosion of colour, happiness, and community pride. We can’t wait to do it all again next year, even bigger, even brighter!
Below are a few photographs I have been sent from the event.
